Introduction
Buddies can make an important contribution by introducing refugees into Dutch society. Introducing starts with telling each other stories about each other’s society: how is that arranged in your home country? That is how we do it overhere. The important question is why something is arranged in a certain way. A conversation about this leads to insight into backgrounds and thus to a better understanding of each other’s society.
If you have guests from abroad to visit, you are happy to show your country, your city or your village to tell about it. That is a great way to introduce someone to our society.
Introducing young people deserves special attention. Many young refugees are struggling and therefore deserve special attention and introduction to peers.
